Families

Welcome! Our Family Resource Center is located in room 132 of the main building. This room is available to all Wilson MS staff, students and families and community members.

If a student or family is in need of school supplies, clothing, toiletries, or food, please contact our Community School Coordinator, Kelly Davis . She can be reached at ext. 27141 or via email at kelly.davis@aps.edu.

Our Family Resource Center (FRC), as being a community school, addresses the Family Engagement component which encompasses several components of service: Family Outreach, Family Supports, and Wilson’s own Community School Council, all of which work in cooperation to provide students and families with access to support and services offered by Wilson Middle School and community partners.

The FRC engages families in meaningful volunteer & support opportunities related to their child’s education, connects families with school services and links families to support resources in the community.

Food Pantry and Mobile Food Pantry

We have a mobile food pantry the third Monday of every month, with the exception of holidays and this is coordinated by our Family Resource Center staff and supported by staff and community volunteers. Our next food distribution is January 23 at 3pm in the busloop.
