This course is guided by the Elements and Principles of Design, as well as both National and State Art standards. Students begin by learning/reviewing basic drawing skills. Throughout the semester, students’ visual and verbal means of expression are enhanced through exploration of a variety of media and genres. Students acquire skills to expand their ways of looking at and interpreting their worlds. (no previous Art experience necessary)
